DreamGlass® in Advertising Campaigns – The New 2012 Volkswagen Beetle

Barcelona, Spain. The renowned car maker Volkswagen, one of the world’s leading car manufacturers, recently collaborated with DGG in the launch of the new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle. To present the brand’s new model, a special podium was installed in the sky center of Barcelona’s international airport. The podium was made of stainless steel and was placed inside a cube formed of several DreamGlass® privacy glass panels, which changed from opaque to transparent every thirty seconds, while a number of plasma screens mounted on the external section of thecube displayed video images of the historical evolution of the famous German car, conveniently synchronized with all DreamGlass® privacy glass panels.

In order words, the historical visual presentation of the new Beetle ended with a countdown that ultimately revealed the new model by activating all glass panels at the flick of a switch. The result was impressive and surprised many Barcelona Airport travelers during the month of January 2012.
